The NFU Mutual Life Sales Development Team has taken on the (rather significant) challenge of driving to Paris and back in a car bought for less than £500 to raise money for two very good causes. The £500 budget needed to go a long way, covering all purchase costs, alterations, road tax and MOT.
In total, five intrepid teams will tackle the 700+ mile trip, setting off from NFU Mutual Head Office in Tiddington on the 7th March. They’ll drive through the Eurotunnel to Calais, before heading on to Paris. On returning to the UK, the teams will sell their cars, with all proceeds being added to the final fundraising total.
The money raised will be split between Great Ormond Street Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support, which is the NFU Mutual Corporate Charity for 2013/14. Our brave teams have set themselves an ambitious target of raising more than £6,000. If you’d like to donate or read more about the project, please visit our fundraising page.
