Year Two

Placement
Your second placement, which will be coming to an end in year two, will see you broadening your experience of our business, maybe spending time with other Head Office departments, the Regional Service Centres or out in the field in the Agency offices.

Professional qualifications
Having completed the Certificate in Insurance, it’s time to tackle your professional qualification. Building on the experience you have gained in year one, you’ll now focus on the qualification relevant to the division you’re in, this is likely to be either ACII or CIMA.

Personal development
We’ll arrange various informal seminars with senior managers, giving you a great insight into our key challenges and future objectives. It’s also the time for the second section of your people skills modules.

Reviewing your placement
We’ll begin year two by having a good look back at year one. We’ll go over your objectives and think ahead to what you’d like to achieve over the coming nine months. It’s also time to start thinking about the area of our business you’d like to specialise in once you’ve completed the scheme. Exciting stuff!
