Working in Chester

As cities in England go, Chester has to be one of the most beautiful and historic. With a 2,000 year old story, it boasts a complete circuit of walls, sections of which date back to Roman times, a Norman Cathedral and iconic two-tiered, traditionally-beamed buildings in the centre of town.

Its hardly surprising then that Chester has gained an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s top heritage destinations. Its unique atmosphere makes it a popular place to shop (you certainly couldn’t want for a bigger range of retail outfits, from high fashion boutiques to the larger high street chains) and sight-seeing, with the Cheshire Military Museums, Roman amphitheatre and famous Roodee Racecourse.

Aside from its man-made attractions, Chester also has the beautiful River Dee, and stunning Grosvenor Parklands and you’re only a stone’s throw from the surrounding unspoilt countryside of Cheshire and North Wales.
