Channel Islands

The Islands Insurance Group was established in 1978 and was acquired by NFU Mutual in 1985. It now employs over 70 staff and trades as Islands Insurance from offices in Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney. With over 34,000 clients (approximately 1/5th of the total population), the NFU Mutual Gross Written Premium Income (GWPI), spread across motor, home, travel and commercial, from the Islands in 2005 was £15.7m.
