Belfast
Our Belfast branch was founded in November 1930 after NFU Mutual were invited to become the official insurer of the Ulster Farmers’ Union. Sir Basil Brooke, the then President of the Ulster Farmers’ Union later became the first Chairman of the Local Board for Northern Ireland and ultimately Prime Minister for Northern Ireland. Since those early days we have moved premises many times due to expansion, which eventually led us to designing and building our very own office building in 1991, Harvester House, which is now home to over 90 staff.
There are now 23 Groups comprising of 57 Group Specialists in Northern Ireland serving the Union and NFU Mutual. As well as the Regional office in Belfast, we sell our products throughout the region (from Enniskillen to Ballymena), through a network of 23 local tied agents. Our aim is to offer unparalleled service to both our loyal existing clients and all potential new ones.
Please note that if you're applying for a role at NFU Mutual in Northern Ireland, your application will be subject to Northern Irish employment legislation.
