Typical roles

Detailed below are the types of vacancies we have and the different levels of experience you'll need for each. To find out the areas we're currently recruiting for, please refer to the bottom of the 'Locations' page.

Trainee Financial Consultants
If you’ve already achieved your full FPC but haven’t quite decided where your career’s heading, then join us to become a fully-fledged Financial Consultant. You’ll embark on a 7-week in-depth technical training programmed followed by a period out in the field putting your theory into practice in order to gain your Competent Advisor Status (CAS). At which point your basic salary will increase and your earning potential will become uncapped. Anyone interested should contact the Recruitment Team.

Financial Consultants
You'll manage a steady supply of prospects supplied by two or three Agents in your area and building a good rapport with these Agents will be key to your success from the start. As your customer-base develops, you'll focus on managing relationships with your customers, ensuring they have exactly the right pensions, savings and investment products from our portfolio.

Corporate Financial Consultants
This is the same role as a Financial Consultant, but with a specialisation in business financial planning. This will include additional training to advise companies about business protection, key person insurance, partnership protection and shareholder protection, senior management retirement planning, employee benefits as well as SIPPs. So on top of your FPC qualifications, you'll need experience of advising in these areas.
