I joined NFU Mutual as a trainee. Initially I wasn’t sure what to expect, it was assured the role would varied, interesting and enjoyable – and true to their word, it has been. I received full training and support to get me ready for my role and was provided with a structured programme of courses to equip me in understanding all the requirements. This was then followed up with on-the-job training so I always had someone to refer to for advice and guidance.

As I have developed in my role, there has always been further courses and workshops available to continue my learning and development. The company encourages career progression and this has given me the opportunity of working in different environments and job roles.

For me the most enjoyable aspects of working as a Field Trainer is the variety of work, meeting lots of different and interesting people and having the flexibility to manage my own workload. My career has continued to progress and I have gained professional qualifications whilst working and am now responsible for the training of new sellers.
