“From the day I had my interview in October 2002, NFU Mutual have been supportive, encouraging and professional. I’d already worked for another large general insurer, but what attracted me to this role was the wide range of claims I’d be dealing with (not just household and motor which I had been used to). I was told I didn't need any specific farming experience and that I’d be given lots of training.

They certainly made good on their promise - I've dealt with all sorts of interesting claims in my time here and, although it’s a cliché to say no two days are really ever the same. We develop fantastic working relationships with our local agents and customers, which is what I think differentiates us as a company. All my colleagues in the claims department are very supportive and as the business has grown we've expanded the team and will be upgrading our computer system very soon. I'm certainly looking forward to a challenging future as we continue to go from strength to strength."
